Enable the bank to operate effectively in an international marketplace by supplying Engineering and Design for Linux, Solaris and Virtualization environments. Responsible for re-designing and updating the DR strategy for the Linux and Solaris environments. Closely involved in the Design and Engineering of the first large scale virtual deployment for NAB. Engineering lead for auditing the whole server infrastructure, both physical and virtual Redesigned technical and operational aspects of DR and DMZ environments and recommending remedy of out-dated servers.
Technical Project Manager, for the design, implementation and testing of the Whole of Victorian Government DR Solutions. This involved, auditing existing solutions, estimation of future growth, and manage and align architecture efforts for the Whole Victorian Government. The buildup and handover of this totally virtual DR solution included P2V (Physical to virtual conversion) planning, scheduling, managing and execution.
Consulted on the creation of the conceptual enterprise level architecture and associated business case documentation for the Whole of Victorian State Government ICT shared service initiative that gained cabinet approval to proceed and secured a $90 Million funding allocation.
Provided crucial security advisory, implementation and review services to a wide range of customers across the Asia Pacific region. The range of customers assisted spanned military, state and federal government, banking and finance and law enforcement. The advisory services provided enabled these organizations to be able to effectively deploy virtualization platform(s) while significantly minimizing their risk profile and vulnerability to external and internal threats.
